Sure you can, in fact Erik sells Henglong Abrams tanks that have been converted over to the Taigen electronics and gearboxes. Many of the Taigen tanks are repainted Henglong tanks with some changes...

I think it really depends on the tank. Some of the "Plastic" models still have the metal suspension, some are all plastic. I can tell you I have a "Plastic" Tiger 1 and I abuse the hell out of it....

Lol.....Its close to my lake house but a few hours away from my KC house so I don't get to it too often. I do wish the grass was kept better, but its a state park so its not cut too often.
