diamonddave i wouldnt cut anymore holes than you have to. the box is pretty light and with a big 80 or 85 will make alot of vibrations. you need to secure that box as best you can. in my first one i...

diamonddave all you have to do once you are ready to put the top firewall on is cut a square right above your carburator about 3 inches each way. or whatever you feel necessary
