Actually on a full charge Nicad or Nimh will be around 11.5 or so, and quickly fall off to around 10.5 as you mentioned. A fully charged lithium pack however will provide 12.6 volts and will sustain...

We do not recommend the combination as it will reduce the output of the TX over time at a higher rate, and could cause a reduction in range performance. If you use this combination, it is necessary...
