The only problem with buying the vxl for your xl-5 is the driveline. You are better off to just get the whole truck unless you plan to re-do the driveline (beef it up) :eek:

Mine outlasted most of the titans I hear about. It lasted me about 6months.
Auto- I think he was talking about the rustler xl-5 being durable
