The brakes (GBRJET option) were never designed to lock, just to apply a decent braking function (in selectable functions and power) so the jet slows up in the same way as the full size.

There are a few options, two companies Maffs and Axel make pilots, Maffs up to 1:3.5 scale (I believe) and Axel up to 1:2 scale.

Maffs are cheaper and good overall, Axel pilots are very expensive...

Guys I had issues when I did the SG Hawk and suspect the same might be the case with the TH Hawk.

This is what I did.........

1 - As the mouldings for each leg were supplied in two halves...

Thomas, no issues here just making sure people understand the concept behind the designs - as builders you are totally free to choose to do your own mods etc - its what I do too ;)

The tank and the position it is mounted in were to allow the Skygate Hawk fully ducted system I made to fit, in the TH large Hawk this is not available (full ducting) so you can play...

If you plan to open up the fuselage top as an access area like many are now doing it would be worth checking and marking where this will be so you place the push rod support turrets...

Unfortunately the market for going through the process to make the blended ducts and carbon bypass is just not viable, its a time consuming process that ultimately is unlikely to supply any returns...
