Run it stock first. If you break it then start adding or modifying parts.
If you burn up the trans gears order steel #08013t.
We have them on our site.
We also have the alum suspension and...

Take the starter off, remove bearing and clean it with wd40 or other.
Then oil with light oil - sewing machine or air tool oil works well.
DO NOT BLOW THE BEARING DRY WITH COMPRESSED AIR

There are two versions for the VX engine. measure across the screws. If the one you bought is to small my quess is you need 1.25'' version.

Switch the two servo plugs on the receiver ch1 and ch2.
If that works and your steering controls the throttle , switch back.

W/O manifold on the engine your fuel will not pump to carb.
