Thanks, I found out that the little rubber rings (o-ring) are supposed to act as "damper/springs", one of them had got stuck on the plastic part instead of beeing compressed when the wheel moves up....

Does anyone know if the Turborix 2.4GHz 6 channel radio left stick can be made self centering ?
Perhaps by moving springs from the right stick ? (AFAIK that seems to be the a common solution).

I will be trying mine with a Mamba Max with the stock motor or 3S shortly, I just need some connectors and fix a few drivetrain issues.

The upside down brake thing would move all the linkages to the "lower" deck, ie free up alot of space on the upper chassie plate.
