Carb: 644 is OK, I run one engine of mine with a modded one with no choke - you really don't need the choke to have reliable engine starting and...

Someone else will jump in here I am sure - but Champion plugs are not the favoured choice. They've had a history of dropping electrodes into running engines. You can imagine the damage.

Might be worth also checking where the HT coil is bolted on has a clean and sound earth connection, if not it can spark and create some RF interference that your radio might not like.

And make sure the spark plug has an "R" in the number of it, IE NGK CMR7H or similar.
