I wanted to use the 1.20AX on mine, but already buillt the plane around a nice mount for the 1.20FS.

well........bought a 15x8 and 14x10 props, already have 16x6.
Tried each one on ground and used tach.
16x6= 9120 rpm
15x8= 9800 rpm
14x10= 9200 rpm

Went with 14x10 and seems a little...

Chris............nice........no crashes is great.
I also have about 10 flights.
My rpm with 16x6 is just under 8000 if i remember correctly.
No massive vertical with my "Fat Skybolt" either.

I also followed the incidences in the plans. Needed one click up elevator for straight and level flight on maiden flight. Also flies straight and level inverted with very little input.

I reallr do like the green and yeller but can't have green planes due to millions of trees around. Tend to lose sight of them on approach!! My SE5A is olive color and disappears when near trees.

Mine is real close to 10.5 lbs. dry weight with the smoke system, and it flies great on a new engine running really rich. Yours should also. Good Luck.
