I think the TBM DV8R is a little different. I have heard of differences in where the gear is positioned. I don't think we should be comparing the two. The original PCM Models DV8R is the one I built....

They Laugh at me too buddy, But I laugh at them every time their silly electric start turbine fails to start... lol :) AMT Airstart turbines are still made today, still run with the most reliability...

I had one of these fail on a ground start in the same way. I take epoxy and put a bead around the seam.. never had a problem since and have been using in all my jets for the past 10 years. Great...
