appreciate it... the one we flew without rockets and missles was crashed 3 days before the show... it was a lot of work to get it flyable as the boom was broke off, the wing stubs were both broke...

glad to hear it... we use the helicommand on our apache's... makes our 31+ lb birds with 4 bladed head with 800mm blades fly like a craptor.. nothin to it...... :D

When you build a scale machine someday then you'll understand why some havent invested in the scale head, blades yet... these arent cheap unless you are flying a funkey fuse with a 2 stroke smoking...

actually saw it on the rotorymodeler forum first but they took theirs back down. Im kind of a mixed nut using both futaba and jr, i find the 8103 JR heli tx one of the easiest to use radios...

if your talking the scale apache in the booth that was ours ( www.indyhelis.com ) we share the booth with them as we designed everything for that fuse around miniature aircraft parts. the mechanics...

the photo of the guy in front of the apache helicopter is the booth we had , IndyHelis .. I am going to put that picture on our site if its ok..not sure who the guy is tho....

thanks alot blues man... i will try that method when i get to that point, not quite there yet. However a tub wont do for mine as its almost a foot and half tall lol...

How to calculate ballast tank volume?

Any ideas on how to roughly calculate the required volume of a ballast tank... im guessing my total weight is gonna be anywhere around 11+ pounds...

one thing that i dont like on th ventures is the rudder servo mount isnt aligned properly for good tail control rod alignment... the rod has to make a slight bend cause they designed the servo mount...

all coreless servos buzz like that and its normal... i have 3, 9206's on my fury extreme and a 9253 on the tail and a 8101 on the throttle and it buzz's so much with the canopy off it sounds like...
