TT01 gearing for brushed and brushless set-up?

Whats good gearing?

I have 2 different motors that I will be using in my TT01.

1. Tamiya Super Stock RZ motor 23T

2. Novak SS5800 brushless motor

Is it possible to run a LiPo battery in a Novak ss5800 Brushless ESC/Motor set-up? I'm running a ss5800 in my Rustler.

Can the Dark Impact handle jumps?

Would you go with the old style tranny the Rustler has or the newer XL-5 type tranny?

I've only heard good things of the Novak ss5800 brushless motor/esc combo and I have chance to pick one up at a very reasonable price. Whats a good off-road RC truck or buggy to put the motor in....
