Hi all Anyone had success in converting...

Hi all

Anyone had success in converting their matrix to brushless? I've given up on this car :(

I'm deciding between a losi 8ight truggy or serpent cobra buggy...any feedback?

well i obtained a quote from a local supplier in syd & they quoted me $200 just for a set of aftermarket tyres!
i bought the entire car complete for $700 so i dont think it is worth replacing all...

I tried eBay with no luck..
Such a shame as I rarely used my truggy...it seems like a waste of a nitro car :(

i can get them here in sydney from a supplier however their pricing is double...

understand - with my lsn the engine is now nice & punchy - to adjust the actual idle itself i have used the idle screw & let about a 1mm gap on the carb barrel.

when should it eventually die...

that sound interesting running a standard diff for the front/center/rear

i understand the benefit of this however if i relate to my playing with real cars - opening center diffs are not good for...

do u have the center diff locked in this car? this will help to pull wheelies (apparently anyway) as it distributes 50/50 power front to rear

you refer to the cross pin kit - is this the block that is available to lock the centre diff? if so ive been thinking about this mod for a while, along with running diff oil rather than the diff...

apparently there is no backplate available to eliminate the pull start - i want to do the same setup as well, what a pain pull starting then fitting the body...

i'd rather bump start with the...

your right there - the spit test gives me 15sec before the saliva dries up on the head so it should be fine

how long whouls i be able to hold my finger on the head when hot, i can do this for...

my engine is a .28 which i assume is a standard truggy spec.

i stand corrected, yes it was too 'rich' @ 2 1/2 turns

is there any other tests i can run to make sure that it is not too lean...
