While looking at the new style wing ribs I notice...

While looking at the new style wing ribs I notice that the last two ribs, number 7 and 8, do not have marks for spars. Am I missing something or are they not required.

No its just a 58 inch wingspan. just waiting for new flight battery to complete balancing, and a break from the 20 mph cros wind. Hate to maiden in a heavy crosswind, nervous enough on a calm day.

What a great day to fly WACO'S . Very light winds right down the runway for two hours, unfortunately, wind picked up and shifted to 90 deg to runway. All in all a great way to start a new year....

The sig cougar is a great plane. Unfortunately mine sucommed to a bad cell in the battery. It does have a foam wing with 1/64 balsa sheeting

Saw brother mitch's flights saturday. BEUTIFUL job. Love bugs just about ruined the finish on many a car. Maybe the economy will improve next year and we will have a better turn out of WACO t shirts

A good quality latex paint can be color matched, but it needs to be fuel proofed for alchohol . Also you can use rustoleum, it is fuel proof for gas. If you want to spend a lot of money, automotive...

I see a gentleman is offering plans and patterns for a waco cto in quarter scale on ebay. problem is he states an all up weight of 26 pounds. Does this sound even close,for a 91 inch wing.

Made it to the field with my raggedy ole pica waco today. About 3 mph breeze, heat index around 100, but I toughed it out for a couple of good flights, easy to do when only two people show up....

Have you tried granger, or mcmaster-acarr. Look for the 1/16 pipe fittings, thats about the smallest I know of
