you can charge a gel cell with just about any lead acid charger. car battery charger, motorcycle, trickle charger...

just keep it at low amps.

I'm not sure, I can pick up a gel cel at the lhs for 20 bucks and use a charger I already have and don't use for anything else in rc. I can see how lipos will make your box a lot lighter and have...
