RE: wanting a 4ch plane

If you don't mind doing a little building and supplying your own electronics, then take a look at the GWS E-Starter.

Can be built as a 3 channel (throttle, elevator, rudder or throttle elevator,...

RE: HZ Cub small crash, now no run

It could be the crystal in the receiver is loose. See if you can find it (a small silver can) and push it back down into the socket.

It could also be the ESC or motor.

If you can, disconnect...

RE: NEED INFO ON THIS MINI HELO PLEASE

My first heli was a 3 channel from Walgreens. Regular price; $20, but actually paid $10 during Black Friday. Bought 3 of them. Best little non-gyro heli around and very popular over on RCG. A whole...

RE: NEED INFO ON THIS MINI HELO PLEASE

Don't listen to those who snub their noses at these inexpensive helicopters. If you are just learning, or want something to fly indoors during inclement weather, these little helis fit the bill just...

RE: indoor helis

This is the best and least expensive 4 channel coaxial I've found. I have one and love it.

Don't forget the spare...

RE: Beware of Andy’s Hobbyshop

Wheelnut, in the original post he said he paid by PayPal.

TenTen, file a grievance with PayPal. I think you have up to 45 days to file one.

RE: Swift Mini-X heli...

Hi Paul,

That flight time is what I'm getting, not necessarily what everyone will get. It's possible there's a problem with mine. No one else has received theirs yet (that I know of) to compare it...

RE: Transmitter Batteries

Not only rechargeable but the low discharge type such as Sanyo Eneloop or Rayovac Hybrid. Try them in your digital camera too and you'll never try taking a picture have dead NiMHs again.

RE: Swift Mini-X heli...

Hi Paul,

I may be the one Tim is talking about. I have one and it's a good flier if not short on air time. Just consider the size of the miniX at 4-1/2" and you'll agree the 60mAh battery is about...

RE: Parkflyers.com Begin Air 4 channel RTF user review

RE: Ebay Electric Planes

Even the reviews on Hobby King have to be taken with a grain of salt. They (HK) only allow the best of the reviews to stay on their site.

RE: Ebay Electric Planes

Also keep in mind that the pilots in the videos are experts. They could even fly a brick if asked to do so.

RE: bananahobby

From what I understand it's not the product that's the problem it's the service, or lack of.

What did you actually order from them?

Well, you never see him actually flying it in the video, and unless you understand his language you don't know what he's saying.

Have you ever broken a prop in flight? I have when the LG came out...

RE: skyfly reciever wire length

Not necessarily.

You have a choice of wavelengths to choose from with 1/4 wave being the one used most. One quarter wavelength of 72MHz is 41" which is what everyone uses. Some may say it's 39"...

RE: Using 3S Lipo on Nimh setup?

If the motor is brushed then the chances are it won't last too long. Just remember, a fully charged 3S lipo is 12.6 volts. However, that would be a good excuse to install a brushless motor.

Also...
