Another tip for new Super Cub pilots would be to find a large field with long grass and use this as your landing area.

I think everyone must learn that............. Super Cub + over 3mph of wind = Wrecked Super Cub. Simple maths, these planes are just very difficult to fly in wind.

I'll try the other plane battery and new transmitter batteries but didn't want to take to the air if there was an obvious fault that you guys may know I might have. A bit worrying when you lose power...

Purchased a Super Cub recently and after about twenty flights with zero damage, despite the first flight landing in the top of a 70' tree and having to seek the help of three tree surgeons working...
