I used the 7.4V lipo on my Falcon with the stock motor and actually got better performance than with the stock pack (lipo is considerably lighter than the stock pack and the voltage doesn't drop off...

MDub51, that charger has about the safest charge rate you can get, that's why it takes so long to charge a pack. The only other advice I would give is get a kitchen timer at the dollar store and set...

Torch, those chargers work very well, I have one. Be aware though, they are not fast, it will take about 1 1/2 hours to charge an 850 mah battery. You will also need to purchase a universal power...

Creteus, you have a different Falcon 40 than me. I have both of mine setting in front of me and both are: Battery = Male, Power = Male, RUD = Male, THR = Female.

Creteus, I have one of the Zippy 11.1V 1000mah 20C lipo batteries and so far it has preformed very well. I've had it for about 2 months.

Creteus, Are you sure the connections for the tail motor are good and that you don't have some broken strands inside one of the wires. It is possible that the Slo Max motor is pulling all the battery...
