the engine pushing up like that is normal, it still has alot of "pinch" left (GOOD THING), did the previous owner say if it was "broken in" or not?

plus handling would suffer, when you go hard on the oil, they leak, and the handling is CRAP, go harder on the springs, save yourself the anguish, maybe a lost race... hey, your wallet will thank you...

if you put harder oil in the shocks, you have a MUCH larger chance of bending the shafts, so, it is a better idea to get harder srpings and or more preload spacers (or if the shocks are threaded,...

half tank lean is when the pipe pressure is not enough to push the fuel down the tubing, it becomes less and thus the engine leans itself out:(, but replacing it with a better tank solves the prob:)

yeah, after hearing how it eats gears, I think an e-mt2 would be cool, get the 18ss, get a 550 or higher brushed, install it instead of the motor, be nice and quiet, just a thought:D

looking into the MT2 and read the ratings on it, are these comments myths or fact. The engine was a pain to tune (2 said that), the diffs shreaded easily (1 peerson said that), and the rotostart...
