Ive seen a baby edge with the OS 1.60.....It has all the power you would need and runs great on inexpencive 5% nitro. And thats at 5100 feet above sea level.:D

Take a long dril bit and make a hole through the former for the cable to pass through.

What prop are you using? Maybe the the static loading is to high on the ground. You might want to try blocking off the side of the cowl opposite the cylinder head.

Ben it might be your fuel, I seem recall the 160 likes lower nitro fuel......

But adding a baffell to direct air through the fins wont hurt.

I believe Tom only recommends using the HD plastic arms with clevises. I used the MLP arm's on my 28% edge 540. I used the 1.25 arms on elevates and ailerons. and the 3" double on the pull pull.

I just looked at my 5945 boxes the had the blue aluminum arms in one bag, and in the other bag with the screws & rubber isolators were the following arms.
1 red 4 way
1" single
1.25" single

Depdog, The servo tabs sit down in a recess. so they look longer than they are.

At least they do on the 28% birds.......

Thanks Pat and Mike, I just need to burn more fuel on such a capable airplane! Just need to get the feel for it, Its kind of like mental telepithy think what you want the plane to do and its doing...

I was in the same situation as you, The 28% edge will make you look like a better pilot almost instantly! I find it much easer to do most basic maneuvers, stall turns, Cuban eights and I can even...
