thanks guy it started life as a 3.5 then i just added stuff from the savage xss when things broke. they are about the same weight as normal savage tvps. they bolt straight on bit of a pain trying to...

anyone know were to get a skid plate for the savage xl. got a set of xl tvps and the gearbox seems to sit a little lower dont want to damage it

when you had the diff of the car did you try to pull the drive cup theres 3 of them one to the gearbox and two the wheels if yes was there any play in it i mean did it move backwards or forwards this...

you may have to shim the diff if you look at this pic its the bits in red that need shimming it pushes the gears closer to give more resistence and it makes your gears last a bit longer the washers...

or your rear diff is knackered is it the t-15 engine or g3.0 if its the t-15 the diffs are completely rubbish they are made out of pot metal not designed to last long. most four wheel drive are setup...

a mate of mine has just finished building his hellfire and now has a problem i put the engine from my savage on it and theres no drive as in when on ground lots of noise from exhaust and no go but...

the part with yellow line around it sits on top of the parts in red circles the old one you took off sits higher up the new one you are puuting on sits lower down you will also need shorter screws...

if you are going to get lst2 shocks change the shafts as they are rubbish they seem to break near the bottom a little to easily i broke two on mine just doing some light bashing the nitride coated...

dont get the duel brake its rubbish better of getting a carbon brake pad and if poss carbon calipers i use the carbon disk and its better than my little bro,s duel setup
