yea but it wont take 500 amps. a really good qaulity esc will have a burst around twice its constant for 5-10 seconds

i have a 80a xerun esc in my hyper 10sc,running a vxl 3500kv motor
great esc,on 3s it hardly gets warm
nothing wrong with some decent head room on a esc
