RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

Noah,
thanks for the info.
I'm assuming that 5/8" tubing on their web site got over your exhaust O ring? (as I have the same O ring exhaust and it's closer to 3/4").
Bummer, it'll cost me about...

Yo Noah,
Looks good, dude.
That'll take up some room in the trailer!

Where'd you get the silicone and teflon connectors?

I put two large robart cylinders in my Ziroli P-61 to handle the...

RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

It appears that you want to apply a large decal for the green strips.
If so, it may be best to mask and paint these areas as it seems like a decal that large would not likely have the same...

RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

Noah,
You're right on the piano hinge following a slight curve on the nose.
Actually, it works better in that that slight bind helps keep the door closed (and open).
You could also just use two...

RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

My yellow P-38 had the same problem with the nose servo.
I just added a door: access to nose servo as well as switch/battery access.
Actually, I added another door on the other side: an access...

Gear door gaps: good enough.
You can spend a day fixing that and no one will know it.

No excuses needed.

RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

I find that the 1.5" ones are best.
The 1" long ones never seem to get the doors open, fully; and if you do, it's always a big hassle achieving it. Too long is no problem as you can always put a...

RE: Giant Scale Twins F7F Tigercat

For the doors, I went with the UP valve and their air cylinders on my P-61.
It's expensive but easier to put an air cylinder on each door.
