Yea, I laughed when some people suggested it may still be under warranty lol! $200 is more than fair, it's been a solid piece of equipment for many years and I love it. Just can't get used to my...

14MZ replacement

Pretty sure I bought the first 14MZ in Canada from Ron at Sunset RC lol! The screen finally packed it in. Kept getting harder to get a response and required more pressure to select (usually...

One cell charges .15v lower than the rest!

Is this pack junk? It's a 6s 8ah Nanotech, brand new but while 5 of the 6 cells charge to 4.2 the remaining cell will be at 4.05. It's been balanced, but after a few uses it's back. I thought...

RE: 2300 dead...

OK, I ordered the V10 ECU with new valves, rpm sensor and thermocoupler. So do you think I need the 6v speed 400 motor, or will the old one work? Anyone want to share their parameter for the 2300?...

RE: 2300 dead...

So from what I read on the web site, the thermocoupler, gas valves and motor need to be changed as well? Think I'll bite the bullet and go with the V10. Would you share you parameters? Thanks!

2300 dead...

I went to spark up my jet today and nothing. No led's on the switch plate, dead. There's power to the ECU and the switch is operating properly. Any idea why a Simjet 2300 would just stop working?...

RE: Spoilers on Flying wings?

Guess I could always put a second set on the botton. Of course that would call for some landing gear lol!<div id="myEventWatcherDiv" style="display:none;"></div>

RE: Spoilers on Flying wings?

Here's the same picture with the spoilers (added in photoshop lol) located inboard on the wings. Do you think with some down elevoron mixed with the spoilers would work? Kinda like backwards crow....

RE: Spoilers on Flying wings?

Thanks for the quick response! As you can see from the photo (the black wing), the elevons could be completely clear of the spoilers as long as the spoilers are mounted inboard on the wings. As for...

Spoilers on Flying wings?

I'm putting a X8 FPV aircraft together and was wondering if spoilers would help get the craft on the ground using less airstrip. I know it's an electric pusher, but I figured nobody knows more about...

RE: A new rocketeer

I love anything Red Max like lol! Memories from my childhood, think I had one when I was ten. This is my son's Minni Mag done in a similar theme.

RE: TM-14/MZ-14 problem

The TM-14 is the 2.4 module for my MZ-14. I was looking for the short coax antenna. Found one and it's on it's way.

Thanks Gabe, I think we must be on the same wavelength lol! That's exactly what I built except I mounted a Sony Nex5n to the undercarriage.

Charging 14mz without 120v

I will be using my 14mz Futaba for AP work in remote locations. My FPV box has a charger which I can use (powered by 30amp/h lipo and 60w solar panel). Question is, the LiIon two cell battery for...

RE: MZ14 manual

Strange. I tried on my Macs and PC with no luck. Says preparing to down load and then nothing. This goes for both the manual and the update pdf. Anyone else having trouble?

RE: Help, Multicopter KIT for Stabilized Video

I works quite well, but I'm open to suggestions for something smaller and lighter. So far I've had no luck, looks like the only solution for HDMI. It would be fine on something like a Cinestar 8.

RE: Help, Multicopter KIT for Stabilized Video

Just putting it all together, received the order yesterday. Oh, forget needing 8 channels for a 3 axis mount. A little too much sleep deprivation lol. The roll axis doesn't require a channel as it...

RE: Help, Multicopter KIT for Stabilized Video

7 channels would be just fine. Given it will be about $10K for the Cinestar by the time you get it in the air, upgrading radios later will seem minor lol! You'll have 4 channels for the multi,...

RE: Help, Multicopter KIT for Stabilized Video

You can get by with with a cheap 6 channel radio, you don't need more for a multicopter. I fly jets and giant scale which can eat up channels in a hurry. The jet in my avitar uses all 14 and I...
