I run the 5700 in a rustler with a 16t pinion it goes 35mph on the road with a 7.4v lipo. I use a 25t pinion for speed run and it goes 48mph and gets too hot. Now...

I would get the mamba max esc and a different motor. Maybe the vxl or feigao motor with lower rpms and more torque than gear it for speed. If you want speed run lipos.

I had my motor soldered to the esc and it made a little difference. Now I have deans between my motor and esc.

Ive ran my 5700 with 7.4v 25/87 gears and its really fast. It has a lot of torque and will wheelie at 20mph. But it gets too hot geared this way and I don't want to run a fan. I mostly Bach so...

The esc temps are around 150f. I have a 7.4v 8000mh lipo. Running 18/87 gear it will go 50mph with all the computer settings on low. I need a 15t or 16t pinon to keep my motor temps down.

I drilled hos through the bottom of my cars battery compartment to help keep the my batteries cooler. I just got a new 7.4v lipo and it only gets 90F max.

I put the mamba max 5700 on my boat and put it in the bathtub, just to see how it runs. The motor and esc got a little warm in just a few seconds.
