thats correct turbo fan is the right term
a jet engine that has a N1 and a N2 stage just like the B777 that you flew.

but here in the states we do not have model turbo fan engines
there for...

I don't see any gear driven fan attached to the front of the turbine
the A10 has small turbines mated to a large fans,, with out those fans wouldn't even hit 80 MPH
727s and DC9s sound like...

what gets Me the A10 doesn't sound like a jet at all
its a ducted fan,,, large EDF units would have being realistic
I think the judges should have taking points for being unrealistic

me and my friend have 2 composite arfs YAKs powered by ZDZ 210s huge planes both have 14 5955s HT servos no power boxes just one RCVR ZERO problems
even before we changed them to the 2.4 fasst...

Futaba MZs have in and out timing mixing no need for door sequencers, I have set up a couple of jets for my friends

I agree too DoctorJ. I had jr digitals on the TYPHOON and they both started to go bad after 6 flights
took them off and gave them them to JR rep right there at the field

a guy had LEDs inside the tail pipe of his WATTAGE F86 if you looked at one it has big cheater hole on the bottom,,

I did a test too in reset time and low voltage with both systems
the FUTABA rebinds 3 times faster
also I notice the servos will go out first before the RCVR
my next test is to submerge them...
