I dont remember what the hpi ones cost but the integy ones are about $21 a set of 2 and I think they come with tuned springs but I have to check.

I use the O.S. #8 plug or the #3. I have had great luck in the 8. My igniter has a sub c battery, rechargeable, and it should light up bright everytime unless the battery is weak or the plug is going...

mine makes a little noise, try holding the cooling head while it is cool and see if it quits, the fins will magnify the engine noises. I figured it out by accident.

it is to make the front diff grab better especally on corners when you give it a little fuel on coming out of the corner.

yes it is, Im sorry, I wasnt clear, when u throttle it should be loose, but so should your little metal plates when you throttle. Sorry.

how is your adjustment set? If it is loose when you throttle then your metal peices are too tight. I had that problem before.

I allways thought of putting in an XTM 24.7 engine in one. I wonder if that might roll off some tires off of their rims? How could a feller install a big block anyway?

I ordered mine yesterday, I opted for the SS version this time. I have had the original version and the mini and the rtr3 all nitro. Now I figured I would try the SS. I hope it is all the rtr3 was...
