Lets drop this made in china stuff. Anyone with half a braincell knows that the Chinese can make as good products as anyone else, at a given price point. If we pay peanuts, we get peanuts. On the...

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

I drove one the other day with a 50cc motor in it at a dealer demo here in norcal, it was AWESOME. Definitely the best 1/5 scale 4x4 I've ever driven. It handled like a touring car and was very fun....

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

Well, the best of the more readily available mainstream brands like HPI, FG, MCD, and the lessers. There are stand out platforms from niche manufacturers out there.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

I just emailed troy at largescalerc to see if he knows more about the W5. MCD has the best off road 4x4 platform out there in my opinion.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

Hmm the exploded views aren't as high quality as I had hoped but it looks good otherwise. I pre-ordered one from my friend at the LHS the other day.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

The body panels are too expensive. The Hood is $76, Cab is $105, and rear fenders are $39 each. I was hoping the modular parts would be cheaper. These prices are from largescalerc btw, losi's MSRP is...

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

I'll always love the Baja because I like 2wd stuff, but I also like 4wd and this seems like a good one. Though, we'll see how HPI's 4wd is, but I do like gas more than electric for large scale stuff.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

Yeah a kit version would be great. I like kits because I get another 5-10 hours of fun out of them that I wouldn't get with an RTR.

RE: Official Losi 26cc 5IVE-T Thread

Good to know. I'll definitely be picking one of these trucks up. I saw one running in person at a demo for dealers here in NorCal, it was quite impressive. Can't wait to drop a modded motor and pipe...
