well im using a 370ca tractor batt.
i thought that the motor will only take up as much amperage as it needs to turn with a load. i thought voltage is the killer?

i used to do that, then if i needed extra umph i just started my car to get 14volts!

think a decent charger is around $100
i mean if your dedicated to the hobby it wouldnt be a bad idea but still.

yeah, but its $70 plus the charger. lipos are sweet but just so dang expensive.

ive always been partial to wet cell 330CA tractor batteries. they just weigh a ton and dont like it when they get dropped. and your 1/1 car will work well:D
