Why? It shouldn't cost much of anything to make a altitude release device for a servo tow. Less than 50 bucks that's for sure. They have them in model rockets to deploy the shoot at the peak of...

Not many would use a telemetry unit, that's why they're not out there already. There's really no point unless you're doing high end tweaking of your setup, and even that doesn't require telemetry....

350 dollars for an airspeed indicator seems a bit much to me... Especially JUST for airspeed.
