what kind of material?
and change the setup how? you mean replace the brakes? but there is only like a couple hours use and next to no wear on an parts

no i didnt change the linkage at all... the car was fine then i broke the starter so it was parked for a month till i got new parts... and now it doesnt seem to want to brake...

well i dunno it seems after the first couple times applying the break it just starts to slip alot.....and after a few min it has no brakeing power at all...
and i dont think there is alot of wear...

well i found the reverse switch... it works but then my brakes "pulse" instead of my throttle...
ya if you can post a pic of how it should be set up that would help...

well the batteries in the transmitter and recever have full charge...
i cant find the servo reverse switch on my transmitter f it has one..
and the pulsing thing... well to describe it better...

ok i have a problem... or a few actually
1. hard starting..... seems to flood like 5 times before every start
2. rotostart battery dies lie every third time i start it
3. controler seems...

well seeing as im in canada we get some good winter...
i saw on one forum guys were joking about using 3" saw blades as ice tires... but what if you poprivited them to the outside of the rims with...

ok well i will go to my lhs on payday and see if the can get me the sure start.. they actually seem to carry a lot of parts foor the x-cell..

so i got all my gear problems worked out... gave up onthe losi gear swap for now... just opted for a smaller rear tire instead...
same lower gear effect i was looking for..
i can almost drift...

well i broke the front and rear arms.... but i did fix the spurgear problem...
so are the aluminum arms much stronger or just lighter? how much would those cost?

no i tried the spur before i saw your post... now i have to wait for my lhs to order in more gears.. so are clutch bells universal? is any losi bell going to fit my car with no other mods?

so what clutch bell would i use? i bought another spur today made sure the mesh was set right and still it only lasted one tank the melted all to ****... if this keeps up i might just go back to...

well i installed the losi 51... not kevlar but oh well... it lasted a whole minute then shreaded to a smooth little wheel..
any help would be good... i know the mesh wasnt loose... can mesh be too...

well i wil see tomorrow if i can find a spur gear at my lhs..... and i am going to hope that the losi 51 kevlar will fit with no mod...

what is the dif between a turbo head and non turbo? can...

well im hoping this thread isnt totally dead because i just bought an x-cell and i need help.. so far i have broken all the usual- rear suspension arm, bent chassi, pull start..... over and over ...
