We like our Mariner 40. Its only had a few flight, but its nice. It's the original version, and don't have too many issues with assembily. We have an OS 61 installed. I've posted this video before....

Thanks Ike79. No, I have not glassed in there. I have done some fuel proffing with thin CA. But, was looking at some strutural improvements. Were you able to rebuild it?

Hey Barry. With all the lightning holes in the fusalage. How did you mount your servoes back there? Did you re-sheet it? Can you post a picture?

By moving it up aprox 1/4". We've increased prop/ground clearance. Still close, but better than the original mounting point. Yes, we should have plenty of power :D When I ordered it. I didn't really...

We got it. Will use lower mounts, and holes. And relocate the upper one, and holes. Would still like to know if any one is using this combo thou.

I'm not sure I saw that on mine. I'm just finished one up. Well, almost finished. Im about 95% done. I used the hinges supplied with the kits. Seemed to fit just fine. Sorry, I know, I'm no help!
