ahhh ok
it prolly dropped under 6 volts then NiMh's and NiCd's the voltage can plummet by 2 volts if under load specially if the battery isn't in peak shape

unless the battery was too low I didn't think that would be an issue.

loose wire, short, bad controller chip, pretty much a ton of things.

could always hook up a normal sized one to the radio to test.

maybe a bad servo
bad servos can cause some erratic behavior
If you try a diff servo, and it still does then I'd say ESC.
