well the titan 12ts are infamous for burning up fast ;)

I tried one in a RC it ran ok for 3 packs and croaked

At least it lasted longer than my venom fireball motor which died in 3-4 mins

I've seen vids on youtube where people purposely tried to break them by doing stupid jumps and failed

yup the Alarm will work fine there actually pretty darn loud(and annoying), and alarm at 3.3-3.4volts per cell so even if you don't hear it immediately you should hear it before you dip into the...

FYI Lipo cutoffs don't work on blue XL-5s only the cheap $3 alarms do (seeing they don't touch the ESC)
The alarms work very well though so there should be no issue

Well I made a extender for the mounting posts using some scrap aluminum I had laying around from a chassis I made awhile back :D
Once I get my ESC mount plate and front hold down plate I'll post...

both need to be bumped up an inch or so I'd guess

I actually was looking at a sheet of aluminum I have and thinking of using that seeing the mounting posts actually don't support anything really.

yea noticed found a tad cheaper way though
seems traxxas sells them by the 2's with a battery hold down bar for $1.50 cheaper or so (found it out while on my atomic by accident) without the radio...

Just picked me up a used pede
came with 2 spur gears the one in it was too big and grinding into the axels, a 15t esc and motor.
so I popped on a white spur gear that was in the baggie of parts...

Stick with NiMh with kids. Lipo's would probably make it too uncontrollable for a kid to handle. Also if they damage a lipo it can explode.

My nephews 10 and has a blast with his pede and he's...
