RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I think someone on this forum has the LB with a VW bus shell. Pretty sure I've seen it on here before, it would be pretty sweet though!

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I put mine where it properly goes :D I am OCD and it would drive me crazy knowing that theres just a hole where the on/off switch goes. That's why if i change ESC's, i'll cover up the on/offswitch...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

ah, well you should have made an on/off switch(a fake one) to cover that hole! or at least a sheet of plastic, that would bother me.

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

A good, cheap budget one would be the Futaba...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

wow that must fly! Did you make a custom battery holder? I'd imagine a 7-cell hump wouldn't fit, and a 7-cell stick would be to long [&:]

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Haha, yea, the 3300 battery is good for me. I'm planning on making a switch to DTX4200 or IB4200, while i'll never waste it all on a LB bash, other cars use a lot more power than the LB and need it :D

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Haha, Lunchboxer, I guess it is. Sadly, I was doing it on purpose! I was wondering what it would do, apparently the answer was knock off the front bumper and make the LB end up on its back!

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

Well, just finished up a nice long bash session on my LB. Amazingly, the battery is still giving plenty of punch, after 62 minutes of running it around hard (venom 3300 batts) it doesn't seem to be...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

I'll see if i can find a good combo of pre-load spacers tomorrow, if not, I'll try thicker oil, if the thicker oil doesn't cut it, i'll switch to single hole pistons as well :D Thanks for the idea...

RE: Return of Lunchbox..

fixed it! Turns out I forgot to add the spacer (part BC7) between the axle gear(right term?) and the spur gear, so they would grind against each other. I had my neighbor look at it with me, and he...
