The 2025 prefere 3s to keep them in their optimun amp range.
If you arn't using 10A the motor isn't running efficiently.

pulling a pinion off of a gws I used a fork and a peice of piano wire.

Put the fork on a vice or support it somehow, slip the shaft down the tines and tap the shaft through.

I own the pro kit and love it, Fun to build and great to drive.
