I had the same prblem with the rtr dogbones, and o rings didnt seem to help. I ended up upgrading to the 18ss drivetrain when I got the .18 CV-RX and the problem stopped, but you say you are using...

Oooo, ok, I forgot about that, I was wondering because I didnt think the other bearigs were any different between the ss and rtr. But yes, definately upgrade that bearing.

I never had any problems with the rtr bearings, but its definately necessary to upgrade the CB, mine gave out after about 2 tanks.

I think its true because the roto start and pull start add a little bit of rotating mass, anybody correct me if im wrong. I dont know about how much of a performance gain it is to use a starter box...

im not sure... the inside diameter of the tires are 2.8 in, im not sure wat size hpi monster ss wheels are.

No problem. Before you mount them youve got to grind off the circular part protuding off of the wheel hexes because the jato wheels where the hexes go in arent deep enough- its simple to do thogh.
