RE: -Official Traxxas JATO Thread-

Ive got it. I bought it cause the stock one doesent stick out that far, and i put bigger tires on it. its only flaw is the lack of holes for the sway bar anchor. But i just used a couple tastefully...

RE: Big Tires and bumpers

So i bought a 20 tooth clutchbell. Is there anyway i can make it to where it was about as fast as it was before? I adjusted the shift point a bit, seems like it may be shifting a touch to early.

RE: Stop Jato 3.3 Wheelie???

Buy the straight anti squat block. And get a center battery back. Little squat = less wheelying. Tighter springs in the back help too.

RE: Jato Bash

Ive set up a weak piece of wood against a curb and shot mine at least 9ft in the air. Landed on all fours, but it was pavement. Nothing happened, and that was with the anaconda wheels.

And...

Big Tires and bumpers

Finally got all the Imex coyotes glued yesterday, and took the jato for a few test runs. These tires are huge, they look like Maxx tires as far as diameter is concerned. They grip pretty darn well,...

RE: glow plug problems

What kind of glow starter are you using? Maybe it has a short? I cant think of anyting engine related that would cause a plug to break. They are built to handle compression after all.

RE: glow plug problems

Could be your running too rich, if too much fuel build up gets on the glow coil it will foul sooner, kindof like carbon on a sparkplug.

RE: rear tire choice....

What do you all think of panther slicks on a jato? And maybe some input for a good a/t tire. Seems like the Victory and Anacondas don't last very long.

RE: First upgrade on the new Jato

Those are some nice shots. What kinda tires are those? They look like they might make a real good a/t tire.
