Bruno,

I usually don’t post just to comment on someone else’s post unless I have something to add but… I will make an exception this time. Your aircraft is beautiful and you have some...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

I may have spoken too soon on the E-Flite electric retracts. After JoeMamma’s post I rechecked the box on those retracts. Even though they say “60-120” size aircraft, in the manual it says 8...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

When the expiration date is reached on the version I have, I plan to remake the model as an electric with one or the other of these retracts. I have not had an issue with the Robarts but these would...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Okay, I cheated and you caught me. The lighting and glow LiPo is a 7.4v the same as the receiver. The pair fit nicely on the carrier and makes redundant power on the JR R921 9 Channel DSM2 Receiver...

I think you are right about the electrics. If I do it over, it would be electric with the sound system.

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

I am using 4.7v lipos (2 cell) 2100's; one for the receiver and one for the lights and glow. They are so much better than NiMH or NiCad and lighter. I'll see if I can make a diagram of the wiring...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

I don’t know if I can give too many of the building steps here because it has been a while since I did it but here goes.

I believe you can see that I used JB Weld to fuse the wires and...

Because I have not seen anyone else detail this, I thought I might mention what I did to make it work. First thing I want to point out is I wish I had made this modification during the original...

RE: Top Flite Cessna 310 posted

Just a thought....
