The Avalanche is amazing truck. I highly recommend it. I have but mine through hell and it's still not broken any parts.

Get an Avalanche. I have one and believe me they can really move. Also the handling is really cool and it's actually really hard to roll them on soft ground. [8D]

You need to adjust your idle screw. Also if it's revving high make sure the fuel is flowing through correctly because if it's running lean the car will idle faster. And it's not good to run them...

I had problem with my exhaust on my Avalanche. At the tip of the exhaust where it slides onto the metal holder you will find a hex bolt. Just tighten it up and the exhaust will not longer...

Well, I am going to say the Avalanche XP is the best redcat, The build quality is amazing, It's taken some big hits and jumps and so far no damage.....:)

Yeah,I agree with Kemo. I have an Avalanch XP and it's a great truck, Very stable in the corners and extremely fast!!

No don't get a new engine like Kemo says, Just buy a new piston and sleeve..Costs around $40 shipped. Then fit it yourself and you will be up and running in now time. I juts ordered one myself.
