the telebee will probably work ok for hovering and some light forward flight but I wouldn't trust is for more than that. even the logictech 2100t is only recommended up to the 500 size.

Are you planning on using the telebee on the esmart 600? that gyro is a little light for a heli that size. the lowest end gyro i'd use for it is a gy401 but you'd be better off with a 770 3D or...

the original dx6 was marketed to park fliers so while you can use it on larger heli's it's not recommended.

I've thought about getting the gaui 200 and maybe even the 100. How does it fly? Can it handle any wind? 3D?

nut, i'm not sure you can use your belt cp tx with the esmart. from the pictures it looks like they put the elevator ball link on the back of the swashplate, like they do with align helis. this...

most 500 size electrics will fly with 4S, 5S or 6S depending on what you want to do with it and what motor / esc you put in it. I've got a lepton ex that i have a 5S setup in.

the stock 550 w/ stock 890kv motor and 50amp esc costs $320 at helidirect, add shipping and you'd be at $350. this doesn't include the cnc head like xodarap1's does but you won't need that until...

I have 3 hurricane 550's. I'm currently flying the trainer one w/ 2 x 11.1v, 4000mah, 15C batteries. Once I'm done with the trainer, I'll probably sell it and use my CF and CNC version w/ the same...

you could fly on 2 3S 2200mah batteries but your flight times would be pretty short (less than 4 minutes). that method is good for the 500 or 550 size but not so much for the 600

it is nice but I don't want to be the first to buy it... although I do have an extra 1100kv motor I could stick in it. remember too that the 550 is about 20% larger than the 500, can't make any...

I think it will really depend on what type of flying you're going to do. 4S for nice scale flying to 6S for hard 3D flying probably.

I've got 2 4S batteries already for my hdx 450se v3, which i'm flying with a medusa motor and cc45 esc. it's pretty scary how much power that thing has.

hate the 6S lipos, i won't ever buy a heli that requires a 6s, 4s is as high as i'm willing to go. hope the esky e550 is designed for using 2 x 3s lipos like the hurricane.

hmm, i was thinking about getting a second hurricane 550, maybe I should wait to see what the esky one is like. I hope it does better than the esmart.

Oh man, just to live anywhere i can golf all year... that would be heaven, added benefit that you can fly all year of course. Can't be too windy for either. Some nice paved areas would be nice...

lol, i don't think my wife will ever want to move away from Edmonton. our golf season here is only 5 to 6 months so it's bearable for her, if i could golf all year round AND fly heli's all year...

LOL, I've hidden smaller 450 electrics from my wife (i've got 4) but no way i can do that with a 550. I'll just have to buy her some jewelry to make up for it....
