If you look at the specs on how castle rates...

If you look at the specs on how castle rates them, there 10 amp is only good for about 5 amps continuous on 6s.

Would a 5945 be much different on amp draw?

I started this thread to discuss the engine that Copperhead sells. For the most part it has stuck to that, I dont care much for the posts that just say * I called twice an didnt get anyone* 2 hours...

Break in? 40:1 of whatever petrulum based oil you think works well with high octane gas an go fly. I say high octane because the timing is fairly hot from the factory.

Yea they were run right. If he couldnt get an engine to run right he would be out of a job. He gets hundreds an hundreds of hours on engines in a very short period of time.

Silversurfer runs more engines in 6 mo then most of us do in a lifetime, if he says they dont run you may want to take it with a grain of salt.:)

Venoms ignition is the same one all the big name manufactors use as well, no junk there.

I was spinning a Forte 22x10 in that range so I dont think it will be a problem.

Absolute best? Probably the MVVS if your not worried about money. If you want to save a bunch of $$$ an still get a purpose built airplane engine get the Venom. If you like conversion engines get the...
