RE: Pound, VA-A place to fly?

We have a formal club. Sorry, but I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you. I was there most Sundays last summer unless it was too wet. I'm in a wheelchair and if it's too muddy I...

RE: Pound, VA-A place to fly?

RE: Hangar 9 Funtana 40

RE: Lanier Radical 330 ARF

I have a 55AX on a 40 size GP Extra and am using a 12x7 APC. The engine is new and that is one of the suggested "break in" props. Don't know how it would work on the profile though. It really...

RE: Lanier Radical 330 ARF

An APC 12.25x3.75 is the best prop I've found here at around 2000'. I'm flying the Extreme 330 with a .46FX.
Good Luck,
Danny

RE: Since this is about kit building, what are you building?

GP RV-4. Less than happy with some of the die cutting and the ABS parts suck! Going to order cowl and wing tips from Stan's. Not going to install the wheel pants as our field is less than perfect...

RE: New to flying RC aircraft

Welcome to the Universe! As a full scale pilot who now flies RC I found the simulator to be the biggest help. I spent maybe 40 to 50 hours on it before I went to the field. I used a 40 size...

RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

Rob,
Yep, it is quite large for a 40 size plane but I'm impressed with the quality, especially the covering. Only a small wrinkle on the horizontal stab. I'll beef up the gear mount like you...
