RE: THE Official HPI Savage Flux-HP Thread

stock flux axles, 1/2 offset rulux rims, badlands MT. The truck improved a great deal, and very noticeable improvement in traction and cornering with this setup. Best combo I have ever used on a big...

RE: THE Official HPI Savage Flux-HP Thread

I use silicone diff lock from ofna 50,000 wt, and I love it completely. I don't know how the grease would react differently from the silicone oil.... maybe that's comparable even though the numbers...

RE: THE Official HPI Savage Flux-HP Thread

that hpi diff case part you listed is the stock flux parts, which is also an upgrade for other savages. It's already in the flux.

RE: THE Official HPI Savage Flux-HP Thread

the performance change is quite nice, actually. I like the new gearing alot. Only noticeable change was the top end. I can knife edge the badlands on flat ground simply from the excessive speed now....

RE: THE Official HPI Savage Flux-HP Thread

I bought the hpi upgrades and installed them and got some runs on them. I needed ALL the shims for them. All the pinion shims and all the larger ones for the ring gear bearing in order to get a nice...

RE: Official e-savage thread

I'm guessing a nice 25 minutes on those.. if you keep the heat down on the motors. Those are fine for lipo alarms. I have the jns ones, which is basically a no-name brand, and there's many other...

RE: Official e-savage thread

Great battery choice, but it might need to have the battery cover massaged slightly because of the square edge.. but it will fit in the physical hole.

RE: Official e-savage thread

14.4 volts into the...

RE: Official e-savage thread

well I've used the 2300 kv motors before in the e-savage, and it's at least 100% improvement over stock. That's no joke. it's a perfect match for that truck right there.
Up to 2700 kv is ok, and...
