My Setup: 3800 KV Motor....Telebee gyro...288mm blades.

The Problem: Hard Yaw to left. Very little tail...

Just a few pics of this great bird in flight. The one photo shows the Bee over 100 feet MSL. Yee-Ha!

Whew! Finally Stable

Had to wait a week for the Telebee gyro....but it came in, I installed it..dialed 'er in..and NOW; I can hover the HBK2 in the garage..rock solid!

Other than the new gyro, I use the 3100...

Yep,

That's what I think it is DRUSS....

Funny thing, the bird still flies ok even being out of track a mile! LOL I know this isn't the way to fly it..so I'm gonna replace all thge bearings...

Hmmm? For some reason, I can NOT track my blades on my HBK 2.
I've done it many times before.
Here's the symptom:

At about 30-40% throttle tracking is ok; not perfect.
As I increase RPM...

It's an odd thing..The HBK II will fly a little tail heavy.
I once added some nose wt inside the canopy..Just taped in a bolt...Flew ok, but I didn't see much diff...Took out the wt and she flies...

Your blades should form a parallel line end to end. They should not be so tight that you can't move them....

Just an idea.
Hold one blade so it can not move...Then try to gently rock the other blade with your hand as if you are simulating collective...Try the other blade.
The stock head gets quite a bit...

Actually,
If you trim the bird properly you get pretty good flight times with the stock 1000 Mah...I get about 11 mins.
I purchesed two 1350Mah @ 20C Mega-Power's. Excellent power...not too...

Ohh Vettster..

Read my original post..I already bought a upgraded motor and ESC. Did that when I bought the chopper.
As my 1st post says; the stock motor is "pure crap."

Ya'..I can see your point about the stock gyro. Obviously the quality control of this bird and electronics leave something to be desired...BUT...I have not had the tail problem...

You are right about hovering close to the ground, but I do think based on what I see with my HBK2; that if it were hovering more like 3 feet, then perhaps a good instructor could...
