i rang the national importer....only 'heli versions' have been imported

he says the functions are identical (as explained above) so im more than happy

I called the supplier, and he confirmed that only 'heli versions' have been imported to Oz

He said the 2 versions are functionally identical, with the only difference being a couple of...

I am going to call modelflight today just to make sure there isnt fixed wing versions in Oz....i would prefer it if its there, bu if not its nice to know the heli version is fine...

i have read on other forums that suppliers only import the heli versions (for modes 1 and 2) into aus...

my concern is the differently labelled switches etc....seems silly to have...

as before, my close mate (instructor) and several others at my club fly mode 2....so it seemed the logical way to go

he also reports that when flying aerobatics, he finds mode 2...

Ordered a mode 2 DX7 system (for planes obviously) and when i went to pick it up today I was supplied with the mode 2 'helicopter' version

The shop tells me 'this is all...

i almost ripped the covering off my ARF trainer, its OK, but a bit messy around the edges/sharp corners...plus the loud flashy colour scheme doesnt do much for me...prefer a traditional scheme.

wow thats a nice neat setup!

my transporting will either be done in my WRX or dads nissan 4x4 ute (pickup, for you americans :D) - so ill have to make some sort of rack for the gear

rang around a few shops here in melb...most either didnt have them, or didnt have panels in stock, or needed to order one..blah blah.

hmmm.....is this adjustment of the heat essential?

lots of these guys seem to be using the glow sticks without a problem...

and what does the meter show? how much life is left in the plug?...

i think i might get the hobbico deluxe II panel, use my starter that plugs into the panel, and a portable glow stick.

this way i can halve my wires, and...
