the hobbyking buggy is same as acme nb16 which i used the metal pinions an cups in my buggy when had it just need to use longer centre shaft at rear.

Had metal gears fitted took about 6 tanks for gears to settle in an get back the free roll of buggy.Sold mine on awhile ago, want to try lrp s18 bx if can source one, till then me xray & kyosho shall...

haven't used buggy for awhile now, just put battery on charge as weather liking good over here [8D]

thanks, yeah may follow suit with lube hole in housing ;) using 7k/7000wt for lube as have plenty, this one hasn't reached spec of last chaos had years back but getting there slowly, same pinions...

been out terrorising tarmac an lite jumps ;) chaos was going well till centre diff cup came away from diff, was due to centre screw popped out. Sorted that 2 tanks on then rear pinion stripped lasted...

yeah stock engine on 25%, I got plans on porting spare crankshaft see if get mores revs ;)

be best you have a chaos first to really judge if .12 conversion best route, theres been a conversion done with 18 running slipper clutch but is 2wd best option IMO due too diff cups melt out with .5...

took 2 out what a drama :D put brand new picco plugs in engines neither liked em after 10 mins of pulling dropped in back up plug vroom running but buggy was going in reverse :eek: diffs where wrong...

brought buggy s/h so unsure of how was ran in, but runs perfect! once primed fires fist pull[8D] when checked temp the cups had slackened off so was revving more than normal.Shall soon see as parts...

is shaft that gone what cup attaches onto,it be needing new outdrives, but the screw in cup was countersunk an the head wedged itself solid at base, tap out screw an replaced it with a slimmer...

those are sportwerks sways optional SWK4900 but not stocked or available in uk so seems[&o].I would like a metal geared servo with for steering the hitec have is hs81mg i can mod chassis for mount...

i got them on order from an online shop but their supplier hasn't given them a date when be in stock:(, may have to settle for stock servo for now:eek:

took it out today still RWD no parts yet[:@] an steering servo given up the ghoust half way though tank, got hitec servo about somewhere hopefully it works still:) if not what servos you guys using?...

standard turnbuckles on mine gave toe in, the minizilla turnbuckles i have are longer than plastic turnbuckle so is ideal just balls to be changed so they swivel with ease.

The engine is an side exhaust with plastic muffler that will be quiet,fitting a alloy tuned pipe(manifold an pipe) such bring up power an a sweet note!! yep a member used Rc18t turnbuckles AS21052...

ok, opting for non pullstart be using my xray nt18t starter box, i will have to lower engine abit, linkages not a problem, been out today with my ofna jammin .5 :D ,hyper 8 pro buggy an xray nt18t :)...

getting the itch on ordering picco .8, the only thing to do is open flywheel access in chassis for starter? flywheel and engine mounts remain the same?
