RE: Best electronics for T REX 450SE V2...??

The "standard" with TREX 450 V2's are Hitech HS-65MG for cyclic, Futaba GY401/9650for the tail and a Specktrum 6100 Rx unit. The Futaba 10C is nice, but iverkill IMHO for a Heli. Get a DX7 instead.

RE: Hopping Up Two Blade CX2s

CX2's are great Helis when flown indoors or in perfectly calm conditions, but for all that $$, get yourself a CCPM Heli that is made to fly outside! :)

With Helis: LOTS of things! That's why you need to go back to basics when troubleshooting.

RE: cx2 power loss.. help!!!!

It could possibly be that you damaged your controller during your recent maintenance.

The CX2 is only going to be of limited use for filming video. If you are going to do it anyway, check out the flycamone. It is a self-contained video system that records video whie you fly, but you...

RE: CX2 Hop Ups

I posted that exact question some days ago and was unable to find anyone who was able to offer a COMPARISON of the 2nd-gen Xtreme motors versus 1st-gen or stock.

Apparently, not many have these...

RE: Getting back to it...

Go to www.readyheli.com and serch for "CX2". You will find an awesome deal on Kong Power packs for the CX2. They are cheaper than the DN power packs. They are 15C and 900 mAH!

RE: CX2 - Aftermarket Balance Bar Holder

I thought about buying one of those, but at $20 a pop, it was just too pricey.

I saw the full kit at ReadyHeli and it was almost $500 for the model that had everything! Thanks for the build pix, though!

RE: CX2 Main gear misalignment problems

Probably the main shaft is bent. That happens all the time with CX2's.

RE: Mid stick Idle UP throttle and mid stick normal mode throttle...

To answer your question, there is a "throttle hold" switch that must be set up on your radio. It will kill the motor. When something bad happens, you need to hit TH ASAP. You will eventually get used...

I'll post the obvious... have you checked the cyclic pitch range with your 500 with a pitch gauge?

RE: T-Rex 450 SE ESC size????

The DS-287MG's are digital, right? If so, you may want to consider an external BEC as insurance. The digital servos draw more current than thier analog counterparts. I guess you could try it without,...

RE: Our new Trex 500 cyclic response is very slow compared to our Trex 450!

First of all, avoid double posting! :D

Second of all, what is this constant reference to "we"?

The 500 is a bigger Heli than the 450 and it will have a slower response. Lighten up the...
