I've always loved how quiet and smooth the Firestorm transmission is.....and seemed real tough. Till yesterday at the track when I blew the diff...:(

Was running a 3s Zippy on the VXL system...

I like it, but I havent used alot of others to compare it to. Seems to have good torque so you can gear it up. Havent tried a 3s lipo in it yet, but I want to. I think that'd be sick.

Yes I do. And it seems you spend alot more then you plan. Ya need bigger pump, injectors, throttle body, mass air etc etc. I have a wideband unit so I can watch the AFR, the list is endless really....

I've beat mine real bad, the bodys getting to be torn a little here and there and in rough shape, but I've yet to break mine once !

no, didnt get one. I believe if not used properly they can be dangerous....But, I think if you charge them with a lipo charger its pretty safe. A bad puncture can cause problems too from what I've...

yup.....the 4800 at $65 is an awesome deal...it sucks the price is supposed to go up. I'd guess that means the 3 cell is supposed to go up to ? They have those....hmmm, makes it tempting to order one...

I usually put more then 5000 mah's into my 4800 if I fully discharge it..

The higher price on the 5000 I think is mostly because of its 35C rating to the 25C rating of the 4800. But at 25C,...

Check with battery manufacture's specs as to safe charge rate. I know most say 1C charge rate is safe (2000 mah pack, 2 amps....5000 mah pack, 5 amps etc). So to charge most batteries in an hour...

run the engine ?? I have a fairly new battery in my truck. I dont worry about it, havent had problems yet.
