Any 172/182 Cssna RG is a belly landing waiting to happen. Very particular gear.

Its a poor design considering how nice the jets are....

What in the heck makes the landing gear on these Canadair Regional Jets sound like the wing flew off? I do 100,000 miles a year and it still makes me jump a little. Whats with the gear? Poor design? ...
